Born with a love of music, Eduard Volchek takes you on a musical journey
through his life.
Having been raised in Russia, Eduard and his family immigrated to
Australia in 1991 under the Glasnost policy, but in a strange twist of fate,
he would return to Russia to study at the Moscow State Conservatory, from
which Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff both graduated.
Renowned internationally for his ability to compose and arrange interesting
and uplifting compositions, Eduard has found that his love of all music styles
has given him the tools to create this unique first album.
Featured on a number of tracks the sensational Victorian Philharmonic
Orchestra provide a beautiful canvas for some of Eduard's finest work,
while other tracks have an interesting Russian feel.
Among Eduard's numerous career highlights are performances with the
Kiev Philharmonic Orchestra, an acclaimed recital at Mietta's and
numerous other warmly received performances. Eduard has also trained at
the esteemed Julliard School of Music in New York.
In his finest hour Eduard has drawn on all his life experiences and
exceptional musical talent to present us with undoubtedly his best work to
date, Expressions, his first full-length album.
